Clinton County Country Squares hosted an All Singing Calls Evening on Thursday, May 31, 2018. In addition to the All Singing, everyone was All Laughing, All Yellow Rocking, All Squaring, All Rounding, All Talking, All Weaving, All Rounding, All Twirling, All Cha Chaing, All Hamming, All Twisting, All Cheering, All Clapping, All Jamming, and All Smiling. CCCS is thanking Yellow Rockers for joining us on this All Singing Calls Evening. Ken Roberts and Linda Bishop were rocking CCCS through the night!!

Today in the intense heat of summery weather, I found myself thinking about all the square dance crowd…how they must all be busy now doing those summery things we all do…walking thru the grass myself, I imagined folks mowing, planting flowers, picnicking, freshening up the house, starting new projects, going out for ice cream, taking getaways…all the thing we humans love to do. I thought about how now Square Dancing is “under my belt” it is always there for me to go to…the feeling is so good..I know I can be with friends and dance about with them for a darn good time…what a gift! Even if summer takes us to different places, we can still get back together. I am thankful for our dance community/family. I am especially thankful for the new dancers who graduated from the different clubs and will be joining us for the new season. Colleen, your pictures really bring a lot of smiles…and remind us that being with friends is what makes life beautiful. I love you CCCS and every dancer who “peeks in” to see what’s been happening!
