Each year, the various Miami Valley Dance Council Clubs, nominate an honor couple or individual that exemplifies outstanding service or goes that extra mile for the overall health of their club. Clinton County Country Squares chose Art and Connie Whitaker for their devotion and dedication to CCCS. This afternoon, Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the Michael Solomon Pavilion, the Miami Valley Dance Council sponsored the Honor Dance. We rocked and squared with Tom Davis. Elaine Wintrow cued the rounds with style and grace. We had awesome demos by the Miami Folk Dancers. A large cake, which celebrated the Honor Couples, adorned the buffet of endless goodies and snacks. Each appointed honor couple was recognized at the dance, given a certificate, and flowers. Amongst the couples, Steve and Beverly Stoehr from Kitty Hawks, were selected 2018 MVDC Couple. Congratulations to Steve and Bev for this honor, and to all the couples that were nominated, especially, our own Art and Connie Whitaker! The spirit and enthusiasm of the MVDC shines through all of you!
